A listening game that develops important early literacy skills! Players listen to each word that is spoken on the CD to determine if it rhymes with a word that is pictured on their game card. Whenever spoken words correctly rhyme with the picture words, the players place game pieces on the matching pictures. This game features photographic pictures that appeal to young learners. It teaches phonemic awareness, rhyming and vocabulary, improves observation and short-term memory, and helps develop listening and visual discrimination skills. The game can accommodate group play up to 12 players, or be used by a single player. Great for a classroom activity! Includes 12 game boards, a CD featuring 36 words, 120 plastic counters, and an instruction sheet with suggestions for additional vocabulary-building activities. Game boards are 8" square.
