Raised-Line Writing Paper

A unique transitional writing tool designed to be used by individuals who have difficulty staying in the lines of regular writing paper. This paper has raised lines which provide not only visual, but also tactile feedback, as the writer can feel the lines. The tactile experience motivates students to improve their writing skills. The 8.5" x 11" bright white paper comes in 3 styles:
The Narrow Rule paper has a raised green line superimposed on the printed line, ruled every 3/8".
The Wide Rule paper has a raised green line, ruled every 5/8", with a dashed line (not raised) in between to be used as a guide for letter formation.
The Stop and Go paper has a raised, red line to allow the writer to see and feel the base and top lines. There is 1" space between the raised red lines. Between the red lines there is a pair of green lines (not raised), 1/4" apart.

Smart Start Writing Paper

"Start at the sky and pull down to the ground!" Using a simple system of symbols and colors, the Smart Start system encourages children to form letters correctly by starting at either the "sky" (the blue line on top) or the "ground" (the green line on the bottom), sometimes stopping at the "fence" (the dotted red line in the middle). High quality paper erases easily. The Story Paper is a writing paper that has a large space at the top half of the page for drawing a picture.

Defining a "Writing Line" as the distance between a "ground" line to a "sky" line, the specs of the different kinds of papers are the following:

The K-Grade 1 Writing Paper" has 5 writing lines in a landscape orientation, each line is 1"H, and the distance between the lines is 0.5".
The K-Grade 1 Story Paper" has 3 writing lines in a landscape orientation, each line is 1"H, and the distance between the lines is 0.5". It also has a 3"H blank space for drawing.
The Grade 1-2 Writing Paper" has 10 writing lines in a portrait orientation, each line is 5/8"H, and the distance between the lines is 3/8".
The Grade 1-2 Story Paper" has 5 writing lines in a portrait orientation, each line is 5/8"H, and the distance between the lines is 3/8". It also has a 5.5"H blank space for drawing.
